Description
Arroyo stone Provincial Revival home located at 430 East Almond Avenue, Orange, California, August, 2003. Image shows corner view of the stone bungalow which was built ca. 1910 with stone facing used throughout. The format of the house incorporated classic bungalow layout, built on a rectangular plan with a double front-facing gable. Although not the original owner, Anna McNeil resided in the house for over 20 years and in 1930 sold the house to John Stinson, a shoemaker, who heavily remodeled the house in 1931. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. [See also OPL4680]
