Front of the Orange Public Library, 407 East Chapman Avenue, Orange, California in 1960. The Carnegie Library, designed by architect Cornelius B. Bradshaw (d. 1932), opened in 1908 and was demolished in 1961. Image shows facade of the classical revival structure, with front steps flanked by palm trees with "PUBLIC LIBRARY" over entranceway. The Carnegie Library faced south to East Chapman Avenue, while the new library would face North Center Street (101 North Center.) Photographic print Color 10 x 15.25 cm.
