Description
The black and white block print features a group of people, including Felix Ayson. The text states, "Fight for decent low rent, housing. 'The eviction is terrible but it is only a temporary defeat. We will continue to fight for our place in society. This system which oppresses us all has the courts, laws and police but our weapons are much stronger-the people and their righteousness.' - Felix Ayson, International Hotel Night, In Memory of Felix Ayson 1897-1978, music, film, slides, poetry, speeches, discussion, A tribute to all the I-Hotel tenants. A call to continue the struggle until victory. At Chinese Cultural Center. 3rd Floor of Holiday Inn, 750 Kearny St. San Francisco, Donations welcome, 7 pm, Friday, Nov. 10th."
