Description
Locomotive at the Mill Valley Depot of the Mill Valley and Mount Tamalpais Scenic Railway. The track of the railroad crossed Throckmorton Avenue past #74 Throckmorton and emerged onto Corte Madera Avenue through the space now occupied by the Pacific Sun Building and the Smith and Hawkins offices. Then it headed out the canyon along the creek, crossing and recrossing it several times between Eldridge and Marguerite Avenues as it began its climb up to the top of the mountain.
