Description
Black and white photograph of thirteen women standing in a row, each holding a lottery ticket numbered one to thirteen. Behind each woman stands a man, presumably the woman's husband. Beside three of the women stands a child. The families had either just purchased or were about to move into their El Dorado homes. The group of people are standing on an outdoor Spanish-tiled porch covered with a wooden beamed ceiling, possibly the El Dorado sales office. In the bottom margin is written, "El Dorado camp out 1968" in black ink. On the back of the photograph is written,"Eldorado Move-In" in brown ink. Stamped on the back is, "Received, Jun 1 1970, Marketing Dept." and "Smetona Photo, 34272 Doheny Park Road, Capistrano Beach, Calif. 92624, Phone 496-2211 For re-order use No."
