Accession number: P221 Portrait of James Miller Guinn, Anaheim school principal who arrived in Anaheim in 1869 and in 1877 drafted legislation authorizing the school district to issue bonds in the amount of $10,000 to build the two-story school (where George Washington School later stood);; image shows a bust-length right profile view of Mr. Quinn with a beard, wearing a tuxedo.
