Accession number: P297 See also accession number P64 Del Campo Hotel, located at the northeast corner of Broadway and South Olive Street, built in 1888 and owned by A.H. Denker of Los Angeles; contractors were the Albrecht brothers; plans were drawn by John Pelton Jr.; hotel housed the first osteopathic college in California, the "Pacific Sanitarium & School of Osteopathy"; in 1905 the hotel was sold and razed, the lumber sold for $6,000; image shows entrance with several figures of men, women and children standing and sitting on the step.
