Description
Black and white aerial photograph of three model home tracts near the intersection of La Paz Road and Chrisanta Drive in Mission Viejo, California in 1966. The intersection appears in the middle of the photograph. In the immediate foreground of the photograph are Deane Homes houses. Deane Homes models are towards the center of the photo; they surround a fountain. On the right side of the photograph are the La Paz Homes models. The large square buildings at the top-left of the photograph is Mission Viejo High School. Beneath that cluster of buildings are the Monterey Homes models. At the foot of the hills in the background are Cabot Road and the Interstate 5 freeway. The street on the far left of the photograph is Mosquero Lane. The photograph is one of four photographs on a proof sheet. Stamped on the back of the proof sheet is "Garth Chandler Commercial Photography, 883 West 20th Street, Costa Mesa, California, Telephone: 646-3071." "July 1966" is written in pencil on the back of the sheet.
