Description
The Santa Fe Depot at Bradford Ave. and Crowther Ave. opened May 1911. William (Bill) F. Andrus started as assistant and checker when the depot opened and worked until 1935. Placentia shipped more freight than any other place in the Southland except Los Angeles - 800 carloads of fruit the first season.
