Description
Orange Post Office, located at 114 East Chapman Avenue at the corner of Orange Street, Orange, California, ca. 1910. Image shows interior view of the mail room with carriers sorting mail in the mail. Standing in the center looking towards the camera is Nelson Edwards, who served as postmaster from 1906-1915 and would later become a state senator. Three unidentified employees, one woman and two men, are also present. Visible at right are mail bags and two calendars are on the wall. Several woven baskets are on the floor in left foreground.
