Title from item. A typed label adhered to the reverse of the print reads: "College Avenue, looking north toward Shafter Ave. Rockridge District. Oakland 1930." The signs of the Uptown Theater, Piggly Wiggly, Campbell's Shoes, Tower's Gift Shop, etc., visible in the photograph. A banner reading "Merry Christmas" hangs above the street.
