Description
Color slide of the kitchen, dinette set, and fireplace of a Madrid Homes model home in Mission Viejo, California. The fireplace is likely part of the family room, which would be located behind the photographer. There are three windows and a sliding glass door in the photograph. The windows have cafe curtains and pleated valances in a rusty peach colored gingham fabric. This fabric is used also for the draperies and valance of the sliding glass door as well as for a seat cushion on a white wicker chair in the family room and the table cloth of the dinette set. In the kitchen, the cupboards are natural wood, and the countertops and canisters are white. The fireplace is red brick. The frame of the slide has the following information written or typed on affixed labels: "75-003, Frame 030", "May 13 1975", "plan 610 FR-K", "D1 #113."
