Description
Boy Scout Troop 41 visit to Japan in the summer of 1929. Many people from Japan Town came to see the boys off. A farewell speech was given by Governor C. C. Young. The troop marched to the river and boarded the River Boat Isleton for an over night trip to San Francisco, where they boarded the Taiyo Maru to Japan. They left July 5th and returned to Sacramento in September.
