Group portrait of the employees of Olive Hillside Groves Inc., taken outside the front of the packing house located at Canyon Way and Hope Street in Olive, California, August 15, 1929. Signage on packing house reads "OLIVE HILLSIDE GROVES INC. / MEMBER / MUTUAL ORANGE DISTRIBUTORS". The young man at the far right in the front row is Charles Pister, who would later serve many years as a fireman for the city of Orange. Several automobiles are parked by the brick building, and a railway boxcar is visible to the right of the building. Olive Fruit Co. building visible in background at far right.
