Description
Color slide of two young boys waving an American flag during the Cycling Road Race of the 1984 Summer Olympic Games. The Cycling Road Race event took place in Mission Viejo, California. In the center of the photograph, there is a blond-haired boy waving an American flag that is attached to a stick. In front of the boy's chest there is the arm of another boy who is waving an American flag, but the face of this boy is not visible due to people standing in front of him. The two boys waving the flags are not wearing shirts and are standing amongst a crowd of other spectators. They all appear to be standing on a slope according to the ground cover in the background. Along one side of the slide is a label with "84-009, Frame 071" typed on it; this label is partially covering typescript that reads "Jul84H14." Along the other side of the slide is written "camjl 235" in pencil.
