Description
This eight page representative issue of the Granada Bulletin dated October 21, 1943 includes articles such as "Local Staff Source of all W.RA. Information," "Three College Courses Open," as well as a translation of the "Official Statement of Dr. G. A. Duffy" into Japanese. The Granada Bulletin was a "temporary publication of the Granada Relocation Center" and lasted only four issues before it became the Granada Pioneer. It featured articles informing residents about local current events. Its column "Short Takes" provided short blurbs giving information to camp residents. Of special note is an article in the October 14th issue "Ishidas are First to Leave for University," relating to the relocation of college students to institutions in the eastern half of the country.
