Description
A photograph of 18 firefighters with hand-lettered caption at bottom front which reads: "Berkeley Fire Department, Engine Co. No. 2, Truck Co. No. 1, July 27, 1915." The firefighters are seated and standing in front of Station 2 at 2111 Durant Avenue, which was built in 1914 and closed in 1965. This station was replaced by the current Station 2 at 2029 Berkeley Way.
