Description
Bulldozers moving terrain in Brand Park during the construction of the Brand Library addition in 1967. The Tiffany glass domed greenhouse in the background was removed by the time the addition opened in 1969. It was a functioning greenhouse and was part of the Brand estate during the lifetimes of Leslie C. Brand and his wife. It was near the Brands' home, El Miradero, which was deeded to the City of Glendale. The white minarets from the greenhouse resemble those on El Miradero. Title supplied by cataloger.
