Description
Frederic Chandler Ripley, Assistant Manager of Santa Fe Oil Properties (which soon merged with the Chanslor-Canfield-Midway Oil Company), in his office in the Kerckhoff Building, 6th and Main, Los Angeles, Calif. Santa Fe Oil Properties controlled many oilfields in Kern County. Ripley later became Manager of the Chanslor-Canfield-Midway Oil Company. From the collection of Frederic Chandler Ripley, Jr.
