Description
Color slide of the Marlboro Chuckwagon Corral being held at the Mission Viejo Stables in Mission Viejo, California in 1973. The Marlboro Chuckwagon Corral was organized by Philip Morris Company. The foreground of the photograph shows the entrance to Mission Viejo Stables. There are cars parked along both sides of the road inside the entrance gate and leading to the stables. There are some people walking from their cars along the road. There is a red and white vertically striped covering on the roof of one of the structures inside of the stable area. At the peak of the roof are red letters spelling "Marlboro" as well as a row of white and red flags. There also appear to be patio tables surrounding that building with red and white striped canopies. The landscape surrounding the stables is typical southern California chaparral and brush. On the frame of the slide is a label that reads, "73-026, Frame 001," stamped next to that label is "1973."
