Description
In this three-page handwritten letter, Matsunaga writes about her college life and current outlook. She mentions she will be working for the Committee on Race Relations in Chicago and taking classes on Japanese history during the summer. Matsunaga also writes that her family is now regrouped and settled in Chicago. She says, "This Pacific war has aroused every iota of energy and courage in me to participate directly in the Pacific Basin settlement". [see Bird's reply Dbase #055] [Letter is transcribed.
