Black and white photograph of a competition pool with female swimmers positioned on their starting blocks for the start of a swim meet at the Mission Viejo Aquatics Swim Complex. The competition was likely hosted by the Mission Viejo Nadadores. The photograph was taken from the side of the pool showing the swimmers on the right side of the picture; they are on their starting blocks and bent over with their hands touching the block in front of their feet. On block number five is the the Mission Viejo logo. At the opposite side of the pool are some standing spectators, a patio umbrella, and two "Speedo" banners. At the top of the photograph is a landscaped slope with the words "Mission Viejo" carved out of the ground cover. On the back of the photograph is "camjl 245" written in pencil.
