Description
This shows the exterior of the San Luis Rey Mission built in 1798 and located in Oceanside, California. The arched colonnade extending from the church was originally much longer, but during the years the Mission was abandoned the building materials were stolen. Originally this area was the convento, or monks living quarters, but they have since been put to other use.
