Description
DOWNTOWN DUBLIN, 1913. This photograph taken in 1913 gives a bird's-eye view of downtown Dublin as it stood just prior to the start of World War I. Flanked by telephone poles and trees growing on both sides of Lincoln Highway, the Amador Valley Hotel (built by Louis Bianchi after the original hotel burned in 1912) and the Dublin Garage are easily the most identifiable structures featured.
