Description
George W. Beck with papaya tree near Kashlan Road in La Habra Heights, Calif. Beck also had a ten acre ranch called "The Garden of Fruits" in La Habra, on North Cypress Street. There he grew the first commercial avocados in Orange County, as well as many varieties of sub-tropical fruit. Photograph probably taken between 1910 and 1927.
