The fireplace is likely part of the living room, which would be located behind the photographer. The fireplace has a raised hearth and semi-circle opening; the wall above it has a decorative design of stenciled ovals and 3-dimensional vertical rods that imitates the design in the wallpaper on nearby walls. The dining room has a table with people sitting at it and a woman standing and serving a beverage. A candelabra chandelier hangs over the dining room table. There is a side-view of a piano in the foreground of the photograph. At the bottom of the photograph is the imprint, "H. Lee Hooper Photographer." On the back of the photograph is handwritten, "Plan G, Guadalupe, Casta del Sol, 1876-9-3." There is a blue stamp that reads, "H.
