Picture of Piedra Elementary School, built in 1912 on Piedra Road, Piedra, Calif. Western Stick architectural style. The structure was demolished after the school was vacated in 1944. The Piedra District was created in 1912, merged with the Oakhurst District to form the Tivy Union District in 1944, which in turn merged with the Centerville Union District in 1964. In 1965, Centerville Union was incorporated into the Sanger Unified School District.
