In the forefront, some people are dressed in Spanish costumes and others in Western costumes. The people face a speaker who stands at the microphone. Crowds stand on both sides of the street observing. Banners hang over the street. One banner advertises "Fiesta Del Oro Street Breakfast on Thursday 7:30am July 27th Gigantic Entertainment." Another banner states: "Queen Contest Headquarters." Storefronts are visible along the street including Abstracts & Title Insurance Co., Oldfield's Silk Shop and H. M. Secrest General Insurance.
