Description
Michael Eltiste & Son first store, located at 131-137 North Glassell Street, Orange, California, 1910. Image shows store interior with farm equipment and tools with Michael Eltiste standing at the end of a counter on the right. Visible behind him from inside the cashier's booth someone peers through the window to the left of signage that reads "Alfalfa Seeds for Sale." Signage visible hanging from ceiling reads "WEBER WAGONS" and "PITTSBURGH PERFECT STEEL FENCES / [...] BY ELECTRICITY." Store sold tractors, trucks, Oakland automobiles, Weber wagons, seed and other farm equipment.
