Description
Plaza Park, Orange, California, 1940- 1950. Postcard image shows vertically-oriented view looking northeast through the park, with the multi-colored tiled electric fountain, constructed by the Westinghouse Electric Company in 1937, visible at right. This fountain replaced the original three-tiered fountain decorated with herons, owls and cat-tails, which was installed in 1887. A portion of the Edwards Block can be seen in the background. Postcard Color 9 x 13.75 cm.
