Aerial view of the Orange County Civic Center on September 13, 1966. There is cleared land for the Orange County Courthouse at the top of the photo, just above the Santa Ana Public Library. The Library faces 8th Street. The Police Building is next to the Library's parking area and faces Ross Street. County building 14 and 16 are on the other side of Ross. St Ann's Inn is at the bottom left of the picture. Photo labelled on the back: "Land at upper edge cleared for new 11-story courthouse 8-story jail." Stamp on the back: Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce. Post Office Box 205. Santa Ana, California 92702. Photo also stamped: Official U. S. Marine Corps Photograph.
