Description: Bowron acknowledges the receipt of the December 30, 1941 letter from Bird [see Dbase #002] regarding Shizona Tanaka. Bowron writes that he is "assigning the matter to a competent committee of lawyers" and that Bird should hear from him again in the near future. [A transcribed copy of this letter was sent to Tanaka with cover note. See Dbase #005.]
