Description
Black and white photograph showing Mission Viejo High School students working on the first Mission Viejo Rose Parade float for the 1977 Rose Parade. The students worked with members of the Mission Viejo Activities Committee. The theme of the float was "A Dream Come True." The float featured a Spanish block wall and mission-bell style lampposts that are typical along the streets and intersections of Mission Viejo. Specifically, the float depicts plaster walls with a trim of one layer of bricks along the top. The walls end with a brick newel post that has a white, spherical finial cap.The float was financed by the Mission Viejo Company.
