Accession number: P5755 Portrait of Fritz Ruhmann, also known as "5 Cents Fritz" because he sold beer at his saloon for five cents a bucket; proprietor of the Germania Halle saloon, which he opened in 1877 and sold in 1906, located in the Backs building at 121 North Los Angeles Street (later Anaheim Blvd.) and resident of the Mother Colony House (414 North West Street) from 1886 until his death in 1917; image shows frontal half-length view of Mr. Ruhmann, with beard and moustache, wearing a dark jacket, striped vest, white shirt and bow tie; mount card is printed wtih photographer's credits, "Hatfield" in lower left corner and "EAST CENTER STREET / ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA." in lower right.
