Description
A view of the grocery and provisions store at the southeast corner of Dwight Way and Shattuck Avenue. The sign over the awning reads: "J. K. STEWART GROCERIES," with "WOOD & COAL" to the left and "HAY & GRAIN" to the right. The higher sign to the right reads: "BOOTS SHOES / FANCY GOODS." On the wood plank sidewalk is a sign that says "DRY GOODS." There are at least four horse-drawn buggies and wagons in view, as well as at least eight horses and about a dozen people.
