Title from item. Negative number in Oakland History Room's collection: F-794. Stamp on reverse: "Edward H. Mitchell, Publisher of Colored Post Cards, 3363 Army Street, San Francisco, Cal." "Federal Realty Bldg. Oakland, California" and "2845" painted on the image itself, along with touch-ups in gray. The photograph depicts the Federal Realty Building (now known as the Cathedral Building) at the Broadway-Telegraph Ave. gore in downtown Oakland. The early skyscraper of the Beaux Arts style was designed by Benjamin Geer McDougall and completed in 1914.
