Description
Harry Yoshizumi made this watercolor in art class at Poston II. Viola Kerber, teacher circa 1943/44, High School, Poston Relocation Center, Poston Arizona. Harry Yoshizumi (1922- ) was born in Watsonville, California and incarcerated in Poston, where he studied art. After the war he studied at the Art Students League, the California School of Fine Arts, and the California College of Arts and Crafts. In 1965 Yoshizumi gave up painting and worked at IBM for over twenty-five years.
