Description
Visible are the rooftops of various buildings in downtown Modesto, California. The Red Lion Hotel (now the Doubletree Hotel) with its blue roof is diagonally across 9th Street from the original train depot. In the upper portion of the image can be seen three bridges crossing the Tuolumne River: 9th Street bridge; the railway bridge and the 99 Freeway bridge.
