Description
Color slide of a teenaged girl wearing a sweatsuit and standing with her elbows resting on the bars of a diving springboard. The girl is Wendy Wyland; she was on the Mission Viejo Nadadores Dive Team and won the Bronze Medal in the 1984 Summer Olympic Games for Women's Platform Diving. In the photograph, Wendy Wyland is wearing a blue sweatsuit with the words "Mission Viejo" and "Speedo" on the upper left side of the zippered sweat jacket. Attached to the bars of the diving springboard is a sign that has the Mission Viejo logo and the words "Mission Viejo" on it. On the frame of the slide is handwritten "Wendy Wyland A" and "camjl 248" in pencil. In red ink is stamped "3 Jun 83H8."
