Description
The Pavilion on Cortez Square, erected by the State Agricultural Society, is built in the form of a Greek Cross -- the dimensions of the main structure are 120 x 50 feet; the two wings are each 25 x 40 feet; height of the walls is 18 feet. The dome is placed in the center; height of the dome from the floor is 41 feet. (Brown's Marysville Directory for the year commencing March, 1861)
