Portrait of James Miller Guinn, Anaheim school principal who arrived in Anaheim in 1869 and in 1877 drafted legislation authorizing the school district to issue bonds in the amount of $10,000 to build the two-story school (where George Washington School later stood); image shows head view of Mr. Guinn, with full beard and moustache, wearing a dark jacket, white shirt, and dark tie.
