Accession number: P624 Portrait of James Miller Guinn, Anaheim school principal who arrived in Anaheim in 1869 and in 1877 drafted legislation authorizing the school district to issue bonds in the amount of $10,000 to build the two-story school (where George Washington School later stood); image shows head view of Mr. Guinn, with full beard and moustache, wearing a dark jacket, white shirt, and dark tie.
