Description
Title from item. Photographed by H. W. Domes, East Oakland, looking south on 13th Avenue. The Derby Lumber Wharf is visible, a dock first established under Mexico's authority for shipping of hides from Rancho San Antonio. The wharf later operated as a cargo and passenger terminal by James B. Larue. The photographer's residence is shown at the foot of 13th Avenue, on the west side of the street. Negative number in Oakland History Room's collection : F-2764.
