Image shows view of the couple standing on the back steps of the wooden house with an open back door flanked by climbing roses. Location of the Hardy Ranch was listed in the 1901 Orange California City Directory as "ne, city limits." Inscribed in ink on reverse of mount board, "Taken by F.I. Herron" and ink-stamped with "Howland and Chadwick / Photographic Stock House, / Kodak Headquarters, / 211 South Main Street, / Opposite Cathedral, / Los Angeles, California" Photographic print B&w 11 x 16 cm.
