Description
The lodge or clubhouse was a recreational home situated behind the Brands' main residence, El Miradero. It was designed by architect Charles J. Shattuck and completed in 1909. The basement was for adults only and this photo depicts a built-in bar, banquette seating, unfinished floors, a card table with chairs and a leather studded rocking chair. Stencils decorate the walls and wood beams complete the ceiling. Title supplied by cataloger.
