Photograph of the interior of the Cheetum family's Hewitt Street slum house. Members of the family are pictured ironing, washing dishes and reading the local newspaper. Handwritten notes on the back of the photograph state the rent for this house was $118 per month for four rooms with no windows. Nine people lived in this slum dwelling.
