Description

The photograph was taken at the watermelon eating contest at Mission Viejo Days in 1976. The children appear to be between the ages of 8 and 10 years old. Some of them are looking at the table, some of them are looking at a man whose arm can be seen pointing at one of the children. On the frame of the slide is a label that reads, "76-021, Frame 009."
