Description
Color photograph of Mission Viejo's parade float titled "Baubles, Bangles and Beads" in the 1980 Rose Parade Tournament. The float is re-created from the 1953 operetta "Kismet" and depicts the style of past India with some float riders astride an elephant and a camel and another rider clad in a safari costume with pith helmet. On the side of the float is "Mission Viejo, California" in white letters. In the background of the photograph are bleachers filled with spectators.
