View of the front of John C. Fremont School before 1923 renovations (later became Fremont Junior High School.), named for the explorer, soldier, and first presidential candidate of the new Republican Party of 1856; located at 616 West Center Street (now Lincoln Ave.), Anaheim; original building purchased in 1911 from Anaheim Union High School district, redesigned in 1923 (see P294); demolished in 1937 and new building (see P6078) dedicated in 1939, closed in 1979.
