Description
Glass plate, view negative, box 51, negative 809 Accession number: JH078 View of the Dosithe and Alberta Gervais, located at 887 South Los Angeles Street (now Anaheim Blvd.); built in 1909 by citrus rancher Gervais, the three-story colonial revival style clapboard house was sold to George Waterman in 1916, then Dr. John and Louise Truxaw in 1919 and Mrs. Anthony Bouck in 1978; in 1981 the house was purchased by Jim and Baarbara Stovall who turned it into Thee White House Restaurant; image shows front facade, looking west, showing car port, driveway and landscaping.
