Description
Crate label for "Independent Orange Growers' Association", Orange, California, ca. 1900. The color lithograph label is illustrated with a still life composed of lemons, a glass of lemonade, a table knife, and a silver sugar bowl on a green table. A monogram with "CPM" is in lower right corner, and "LOS ANGELES LITHO CO" (which operated from 1890-1906) is printed in border at lower right. Independent Orange Growers was the second cooperative packing house in Orange, and operated from 1899 through 1903.
